titleOfInvention | Melanoidin-containing interleukin-12 production promoter and method |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote the production of interleukin-12 which is more likely to block the first stage of allergic reaction and suppress the allergic reaction more effectively unlike antihistamines which suppress histamine release at the final stage of allergic reaction In addition to providing an agent or a type 1 helper T cell activator, an antiallergic agent is provided. SOLUTION: An interleukin-12 production promoter or a type 1 helper T cell activator is obtained by blending melanoidin obtained by a reaction between an amino acid and a reducing sugar as an active ingredient. In addition, when melanoidin is added to a culture solution containing immunocompetent cells and cultured in vitro, production of interleukin-12 from the immunocompetent cells is promoted. [Selection figure] None. |
