PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce easily and inexpensively and to have a wide range of choices with respect to the types of active ingredients to be carried and the size of the molecules, and can carry a large amount of these, and the carried active ingredients may be damaged. Provides less adsorbent. A silica gel satisfying the following (a) to (g) is used. (A) The pore volume is 0.05 ml / g or more and 3.0 ml / g or less. (B) The specific surface area is 100 m 2 / g or more and 1500 m 2 / g or less. (C) The most frequent pore diameter (D max ) is less than 35 nm. (D) The volume of pores having a diameter in the range of D max ± 20% is 50% or more of the total pore volume. (E) It is amorphous. (F) The total content of metal impurities is 500 ppm or less.
