titleOfInvention Apoptosis-inducing agent, food and drink and drug containing the same, and method for producing apoptosis-inducing agent
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel safe apoptosis-inducing agent derived from coffee beans, foods and drinks and drugs containing the same, and a method for producing an apoptosis-inducing agent. The apoptosis-inducing agent of the present invention comprises, as an active ingredient, an extract extracted from fresh coffee beans or roasted coffee beans, which are seed parts of coffee fruits, using hydrous ethanol. This apoptosis-inducing agent is derived from natural plants and exhibits a highly safe and reliable apoptosis-inducing action. The food and drink of the present invention contains 0.05% of an apoptosis inducer containing a coffee bean extract as an active ingredient. The chemical | medical agent of this invention contains the quantity which can administer 1 mg of the apoptosis inducer which uses coffee bean extract as an active ingredient to an adult once. In the method for producing an apoptosis inducer, ground coffee beans are reflux-extracted with ethanol containing 50% and 50% water for 2 hours. It is then filtered and dried. [Selection] Figure 4
