abstract A medical pouch (ostomy pouch) configured to be easily flushed in a toilet is provided. A pouch 10 holds an adhesive collar 20 in an entrance opening thereof. The collar has a thickness of 0.8 mm (about 32 mils) or less. The collar has an adhesive layer 24 with a thickness of about 0.4 mm (about 16 mils) or less. The adhesive is held on a substrate about 0.5 mm (about 20 mils) thick. The pouch has an opening strip 40 to facilitate tearing the pouch.
