abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce crystals of (I) at a high recovery rate when crystallizing two batches or more of the following phosphites (I) continuously in a batch system. The following first to sixth steps are included. First step: Cooling and crystallizing a liquid containing the above-mentioned (I) and the crystallization solvent in the first batch in a batch system. Second step: A slurry containing the produced (I) and the crystallization solvent is filtered to obtain a crude wet cake. Third step: The crude wet cake is washed with a washing solvent to obtain a fine wet cake and a first batch of washing liquid. Fourth step: Cooling and crystallizing the liquid containing the (I) of the second batch, the crystallization solvent, and the washing liquid of the first batch in a batch system. Fifth step: The slurry containing the produced (I), the crystallization solvent and the first batch of washing liquid is filtered to obtain a crude wet cake.
