abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet transfer sheet and a recording image forming method capable of forming a recorded image clearly on a transfer object having a dark color or low brightness. SOLUTION: A transfer sheet includes a base material, an adhesive layer that can be peeled off from the base material, a concealing layer formed on the adhesive layer, and an image receiver formed on the concealing layer. Consists of layers. The concealing layer may be composed of a concealing agent and a urethane resin that may have an isocyanate group. The ratio (weight ratio) between the masking agent and the binder resin may be the former / the latter = 30/70 to 90/10, and the whiteness (L value) measured from the image receiving layer side may be 88 or more. In the sheet, an anchor layer may be formed between the hiding layer and the image receiving layer. The sheet may be used for image formation by transfer to a colored transfer target.
