titleOfInvention | Process for producing cyclosporine derivatives |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel production method by biological conversion of a cyclosporine derivative that can be used as a standard for quantitative measurement of blood and urinary metabolites of cyclosporin A. SOLUTION: The starting material is incubated in the presence of a cultured cell of a microorganism having the ability to convert cyclosporin A, which is the starting material, into a cyclosporin derivative represented by the formula (II) or a preparation of the cultured cell. The target cyclosporin derivative is collected from the treatment solution. Examples of the microorganism include those belonging to any genus of the genus Dactylosporangium, Streptomyces, Nocardia, Shudnocardia, or Streptosporangium. Embedded image (In the formula, when R 1 is a hydroxyl group, R 2 represents a methyl group, R 3 represents a hydrogen atom, and when R 2 is a hydrogen atom, R 1 and R 3 represent a hydrogen atom, and R 3 represents a hydroxyl group. In this case, R 1 represents a hydrogen atom, and R 2 represents a methyl group.) [Selection figure] None |
