titleOfInvention Image forming apparatus
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing carbon copy and hot offset even with a low melting point toner, a small particle size toner, a toner produced by a polymerization method, or a recycled toner. SOLUTION: A means for forming an electrostatic latent image on a photoconductor, a developing means 12 for developing toner by attaching the toner to the electrostatic latent image on the photoconductor, and a transfer means for transferring the developed toner image to a recording medium 13. A heat fixing unit 22 for fixing the toner image transferred onto the recording medium. The heat fixing unit includes an image forming apparatus including a fixing member 30 and a pressure member 32 pressed against the fixing member 30. There is provided temperature setting means 600 for making the temperature variable and setting the heating temperature of the fixing member in accordance with the toner adhesion amount on the photosensitive member.
