titleOfInvention | Image forming method, process cartridge, and image forming apparatus |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide an image forming method in which image density is hardly lowered even when image formation is performed over a long period of time when development is performed using a developer supply means having a developer storage section having two or more chambers. A second developer accommodating portion that communicates with a first developer accommodating portion and supplies the developer to the surface of an image carrier, and a development accommodated in the second developer accommodating portion during development. A developer supplying step of supplying a developer to the surface of the image carrier, and a developer replenishing step of appropriately replenishing the developer stored in the first developer storage portion into the second developer storage portion. At least the image forming method, wherein the silica fine particles contained in the first developer containing portion and the silica fine particles contained in the second developer containing portion satisfy the following formula (1). Formula (1) S1 / S2> 1.0 (where S1 and S2 represent the content (% by weight) of silica fine particles contained in the developer accommodated in the first and second developer accommodating portions, respectively. ] [Selection figure] None |
