titleOfInvention | Method for producing polysaccharides |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a culture inhibition factor generated by increasing the concentration of sugar as a carbon source when producing a polysaccharide containing at least fucose, glucose, glucuronic acid, and rhamnose as constituent monosaccharides using a microorganism. And a method for producing a polysaccharide using the same species. SOLUTION: Sphingomonas trueperi producing a polysaccharide containing at least fucose, glucose, glucuronic acid, and rhamnose as constituent monosaccharides is cultured in a medium, and the polysaccharide is accumulated in the medium. The polysaccharide is produced by collecting the polysaccharide from the same medium. [Selection] Figure 2 |
