titleOfInvention | Polymer latex for oil-resistant paper and oil-resistant paper |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer latex for oil-resistant paper which can be suitably used for food packaging and gives oil-resistant paper having very little odor and excellent in oil resistance, blocking resistance and disaggregation property. SOLUTION: Oil-resistant paper containing a polymer having a glass transition temperature of -20 to 50 ° C. obtained by polymerizing a monomer in the presence of a water-soluble polymer compound containing an alcoholic hydroxyl group in an aqueous medium. A polymer latex for oil-resistant paper, characterized in that the odor strength measured according to JIS K 0101 is 200,000 or less for the polymer latex having a solid content concentration of 30% by weight.
