titleOfInvention | Nucleic acid separation and purification method |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a porous membrane having excellent separation performance, good washing efficiency, simple, rapid, excellent in automation and miniaturization, and capable of mass production of substantially the same separation performance. A method for separating and purifying nucleic acid is provided. SOLUTION: (1) A step of allowing a sample solution containing nucleic acid to pass through a nucleic acid adsorbing porous membrane and adsorbing the nucleic acid in the porous membrane; (2) Passing a cleaning solution through the nucleic acid adsorbing porous membrane Washing the porous membrane with nucleic acid adsorbed thereon, and (3) passing the recovered liquid through the nucleic acid adsorbing porous membrane to desorb the nucleic acid from the porous membrane. In the method for separating and purifying nucleic acid, the nucleic acid-adsorbing porous membrane is a porous membrane that adsorbs nucleic acid by an interaction that does not substantially involve ionic bonds, and a plurality of the nucleic acid-adsorbing porous membranes are used.
