titleOfInvention Method and system for packet communication of voice message, and mobile communication terminal performing the same
abstract A mobile communication terminal for transmitting and receiving voice messages by a packet switching method is provided. The present invention relates to a mobile communication terminal that transmits and receives voice messages by a packet switching method and a method thereof. The mobile communication terminal receives a call when a voice call connection is not established with a receiving terminal. When it is desired to leave a voice message in the terminal, the voice channel is automatically terminated, and the mobile communication network and the data channel are automatically connected to transmit the voice message of the caller. A mobile communication carrier can obtain high efficiency in using a communication line by transmitting a voice message via a data channel that is relatively less frequently used than a voice channel.
