titleOfInvention | Non-magnetic one-component developing device and toner used therefor |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer amount regulating means for improving durability so that a stable and uniform developer coat layer can be formed over a long period of time on a developer carrying member and image deterioration can be prevented. A magnetic one-component developing device and a toner used for the same are provided. In a non-magnetic one-component developing device, a conductive developer release layer is attached to at least an area in contact with the developer, which is a part of the developer amount regulating means, and the toner has an average circularity. The relationship between the number of particles A, B, and C in three particle size ranges with an average primary particle size of 16 to 28 nm and a toner having 0.960 to 1.0 and a standard deviation of circularity of 0.040 or less is constant.
