titleOfInvention Method for evaluating the oxidizing power of glass materials
abstract The present invention provides a method for evaluating the oxidizing power of a glass material, which can easily evaluate the oxidizing action exerted by the glass material. A glass material is brought into contact with a radicalizing agent, and unpaired electrons generated from the radicalizing agent are detected by an electron spin resonance apparatus to evaluate the oxidizing power of the glass material. As the radicalizing agent, 1-hydroxyl 2,2,5,5-tetramethyl-3-imidazoline-3-oxide is used. Thereby, the glass material according to the use of the material which contacts a glass material can be selected. [Selection] Figure 1
