abstract Disclosed is a plasma display panel including a phosphor layer including red phosphor, green phosphor, and blue phosphor. SOLUTION: The thickness of a phosphor layer 9 applied to a partition wall 7 satisfies the following conditions, and the red phosphor layer has Y (V, P) O 4 : Eu and (Y, Gd) BO 3 : Eu. In the plasma display panel including D = (S−2L) /SD≧0.64, S is a distance between the partition walls 7 at a half point of the height of the partition walls 7, and L is the partition walls 7. The thickness of the side surface of the phosphor layer 9 applied to the barrier rib 7 at a half point of the height is adjusted as described above, and the thickness of the side surface of the phosphor layer 9 applied to the barrier rib 7 is adjusted as described above. In this case, no stain of discharge occurs and the luminance and color purity can be improved.
