abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical filter in which image quality problems such as double image appearing when arranged on the front surface of a display are solved. An optical filter is an optical filter having a laminated structure in which at least a transparent base material and a near-infrared absorbing layer containing a near-infrared absorbing dye that absorbs near-infrared rays in an acrylic resin are laminated. The birefringence value of the resin is 0 to 15 nm. Acrylic resin is a copolymer of methyl methacrylate and a (meth) acrylic acid compound capable of canceling the negative birefringence value of the methyl methacrylate and setting the birefringence value of the copolymer to 0 to 15 nm.
