abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing for a machine tool main spindle which shows a sufficiently long life even under a high speed rotation condition of dmn 1.4 million or more. SOLUTION: A plurality of rolling elements are movably held by a cage between an inner ring and an outer ring, and fine particles made of an inorganic compound having an average particle size of 2 μm or less are reduced to a total amount of grease. A rolling bearing for machine tool main shafts characterized in that it contains 1 to 7% by mass of grease and contains a base oil of lubricating oil having a kinematic viscosity at 40 ° C. of 15 to 40 mm 2 / s.
