abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain boundary insulating semiconductor ceramic capable of increasing an apparent relative dielectric constant without increasing a crystal grain size so much. SOLUTION: In producing a strontium titanate-based grain boundary insulating semiconductor ceramic containing a semiconducting agent, titanium having a composition excluding the component electrically insulating the grain boundary and the semiconducting agent. This was solved by increasing the proportion of atoms beyond the stoichiometric ratio and replacing 10% or less of the strontium atoms with magnesium atoms. [Selection figure] None |
