titleOfInvention | Nematic liquid crystal composition and liquid crystal display device using the same |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal composition having a moderately large specific resistance value and improving the behavior of a liquid crystal display element against application of a temporary voltage such as static electricity without using a material that greatly reduces specific resistance. To do. A nematic liquid crystal composition containing at least one compound that forms a charge transfer complex and a liquid crystal display device using the nematic liquid crystal composition. Since the liquid crystal composition of the present invention has a sufficiently rapid relaxation with respect to the application of a temporary voltage such as static electricity, the electric field discharge time in the manufacturing process can be shortened and the liquid crystal display element can be efficiently manufactured.
