abstract | [PROBLEMS] To elucidate the crystal structure of a lectin derived from American pokeweed. A crystal of PL-D2 belongs to space group P2 1, having a = 23.24Å, b = 56.95Å, c = 29.62Å, the unit lattice constants of β = 109.3 °. The crystal of PL-D1 belongs to the space group P2 1 2 1 2 and has unit cell constants of a = 48.67Å, b = 49.01Å, and c = 29.93Å.
