titleOfInvention | Toner production method |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize organic suspension without causing coarsening due to toner particles adhering to each other, organic solvent having an adverse effect on toner charging performance, binder resin monomer, etc. remaining in toner particles, etc. A toner having a uniform particle shape and size and excellent properties as an electrostatic charge developing toner is produced without requiring a complicated operation such as removal of the agent. A resin kneaded material obtained by melt-kneading at least a synthetic resin and a colorant and an aqueous dispersion of a calcium carbonate salt that is hardly water-soluble and acid-decomposable are mixed, and the surface is coated with the calcium carbonate salt. Synthetic resin particles are generated, and then the pH of the aqueous dispersion is adjusted to be acidic to decompose and remove the calcium carbonate salt from the surface of the synthetic resin particles.
