abstract |
The present invention provides a method for imparting an antifungal effect to wool fiber products without substantially harming the texture of the wool fibers. Wool fiber products are treated in a treatment bath containing a compound selected from hydroxybenzophenone derivatives, hydroxyphenylbenzotriazole derivatives, diphenylcyanoacrylate derivatives or halogenated diphenylurea derivatives having a sodium sulfonate group. The moisture content of the wool fiber product at 20 ° C. and 65% RH is 12.2% or less. The wool fiber product is preferably treated by immersing it in an acidic treatment bath containing 5 to 25% owf of the compound. [Selection figure] None |
