PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in open circuit voltage during storage of a lithium / iron disulfide primary battery. SOLUTION: A lithium / iron disulfide primary battery is obtained by dissolving an electrolyte in a positive electrode 2 in which a positive electrode mixture layer is formed on a positive electrode current collector, a negative electrode 3 using lithium as a negative electrode active material, and an organic solvent. An electrolyte solution. The organic solvent contains at least an alkylamide solvent. Thereby, the open circuit voltage rise at the time of preservation | save of a lithium / iron disulfide primary battery can be suppressed.
