titleOfInvention Liquid crystal display
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of realizing a wide viewing angle similar to that of a cathode ray tube and having high luminance, high image quality, low power consumption, and a narrow frame. [Solution] In the active matrix type liquid crystal display device, the counter electrode and the pixel electrode are formed in a linear shape so as not to overlap with each other, an electric field parallel to the substrate surface can be generated, and the relative dielectric constant is 4 on the video signal line. The following insulating film is formed, and a counter electrode is formed on the insulating film so as to cover the video signal line. [Selection] Figure 2
