PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: Biodegradability derived from natural resources that is inexpensive, excellent in moldability, has a suitable strength and good elongation rate, and has excellent gas barrier properties both oxygen impermeable and water vapor impermeable. A resin molding material and a food container using the same are provided. SOLUTION: A biodegradable resin molding material composed of a composite of delignified pulp fiber, saccharide and animal protein fiber, and a food container composed of a pressure molded product thereof.
