abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas decomposer and a fuel cell electrode capable of stably supporting a gas decomposition catalyst. SOLUTION: A gas decomposer and a fuel cell in which a gas decomposition catalyst is supported on a carbon nanotube structure constituting a network structure in which functional groups of a plurality of carbon nanotubes to which a functional group is bonded are chemically bonded to each other. Electrode, and a coating step of applying a solution containing a plurality of carbon nanotubes to which functional groups are bonded to the surface of the substrate, and a plurality of the functional groups are chemically bonded to each other to cross-link the plurality of carbon nanotubes. A method for producing a gas decomposing unit, comprising: a crosslinking step for forming a carbon nanotube structure constituting a network structure; and a supporting step for forming the carbon nanotube structure supporting a gas decomposition catalyst.
