abstract | The present invention provides a means for efficiently producing an arylmethylpiperazine derivative by arylmethylating a piperazine derivative. A piperazine derivative represented by the general formula (1) is arylmethylated to give a general formula (2) [Chemical 1] Wherein R 1 , R 2 , R 3 and R 4 may be the same or different, i) a hydrogen atom, ii) an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and iii) 1 to 4 carbon atoms. Iv) a halogen group, v) a carboxyl group, vi) a carbamoyl group, vii) an N-alkylcarbamoyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkyl group, R 1 , R 2 , R 3 Except when all of R 4 are hydrogen atoms. In the formula, R 5 , R 6 and R 7 may be the same or different and each represents an aromatic substituent or a hydrogen atom, but at least two of them are aromatic substituents. In the production of the arylmethyl-substituted piperazine derivative represented by (II), a secondary or tertiary alcohol is used as a reaction solvent. [Selection figure] None |
