titleOfInvention | Organic EL display device |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the excess of holes or excess of electrons by reducing the difference between the hole mobility of the hole transport layer and the electron mobility of the electron transport layer, and to make the injection balance of holes and electrons substantially equal. Thus, an organic EL display device capable of improving luminous efficiency is provided. SOLUTION: An anode 2, a hole transport layer 3, a light emitting layer 4, an electron transport layer 5, an electron injection layer 6 and a cathode 7 are sequentially laminated on a translucent glass substrate 1, and both sides of the light emitting layer 4 are formed. The hole mobility of the hole transport layer 3 and the electron mobility of the electron transport layer 5 are formed by forming the hole transport layer 3 and the electron transport layer 5 bonded to each other with an organic material containing a group IV element other than carbon. The hole mobility and the electron mobility become equal, and the hole excess or the electron excess into the light emitting layer 4 is suppressed, so that the injection balance of holes and electrons becomes equal, and the luminous efficiency is reduced. The power consumption of the organic EL display device is reduced. [Selection] Figure 1 |
