titleOfInvention | Image forming method |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image defects and halftone dot quality even in a relatively low density halftone image when forming an image by an area gradation image forming apparatus that forms a variable density pixel and reproduces a halftone dot by the aggregate. To provide an image forming method in which an image, fluorescent whitening is effectively exhibited, an image having an improved white background, and a curling characteristic is not deteriorated even in an environment such as low humidity. A silver halide light-sensitive material is exposed and developed by an area gradation image forming apparatus that forms pixels with variable density and reproduces halftone dots by an aggregate of the pixels, and Y, M, C, and K halftone images are obtained. An image forming method for forming an image including the image forming method, wherein the silver halide photosensitive material has a hydrophilic colloid layer containing flaky titanium oxide and contains black colloidal silver.
