abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for efficiently purifying a synthesized trichloroborazine compound. In a solvent, boron trichloride is reacted with an amine compound represented by R 1 NH 3 X (wherein R 1 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, and X is a halogen atom). Chemical formula 2: [Chemical 1] (Wherein R 2 may be the same or different and each represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group) A step of producing a trichloroborazine compound represented by formula (1), a step of filtering the reaction solution to obtain a filtrate, and a step of distilling off the solvent from the filtrate to obtain a solid comprising the trichloroborazine compound.
