abstract An electromagnetic wave shielding body having excellent electromagnetic wave shielding properties and translucency and having reduced glare feeling due to metallic luster when viewed from a transparent substrate side is provided. An electromagnetic wave shielding body of the present invention is in contact with a transparent substrate 1, a coating layer 2 covering one main surface of the transparent substrate 1, and a surface opposite to the surface of the coating layer 2 on the transparent substrate side. An electromagnetic wave shielding body including a metal layer 4 having a predetermined shape arranged, and the coating layer 2 includes a resin having a hydroxyl group, and a metal contained in the metal layer 4 at the interface between the metal layer 4 and the coating layer 2. The same metal compound exists. The metal compound is at least one selected from the group consisting of metal oxides and organometallic compounds. [Selection] Figure 1
