[Objective] To shorten the liquid crystal cell assembly process of a large liquid crystal display device, improve production efficiency, increase the yield, and reduce the production cost of the liquid crystal display device. [Structure] A color filter substrate or a TFT array substrate is irradiated with an ion beam from a direction 180 degrees different from each other simultaneously or alternately in a band shape with an incident angle in the range of 1 to 20 degrees with respect to the horizontal direction of the substrate. After the substrate is moved vertically up and down with respect to the horizontal direction of the substrate, a band-like ion beam is scanned over the substrate surface to uniformly align the substrate surface, and then the liquid crystal is directly dropped without going through the cleaning process. A liquid crystal cell process characterized by moving to a vacuum bonding alignment process. [Selection] Figure 8 |
