abstract | The present invention provides an image forming method in which generation of ozone is suppressed, carrier adhesion is not generated, and a high-quality toner image excellent in fine line reproducibility is obtained. An electrostatic latent image carrier having a charge injection layer having a surface resistance of 1 × 10 10 to 1 × 10 16 Ω, and a developer carrying a two-component developer containing a magnetic carrier and toner. In an image forming method in which a body is disposed facing and developed, the number average particle diameter of magnetic carrier particles is 5 to 100 μm, and a specific resistance is 5.0 × 10 13 Ωcm or more when a voltage of 25 V to 500 V is applied.
