titleOfInvention | Method for producing bulky polyester fiber |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a method for industrially and stably producing a bulky polyester fiber having improved heat settling properties. SOLUTION: A polyester comprising an aromatic dicarboxylic acid and an alkylene glycol using a reaction product of a titanium compound such as an alkyl titanate and a phosphorus compound such as a phosphoric acid mono- or diester as a polycondensation catalyst is melt-discharged from a spinneret. Then, a cooling airflow is blown from one side of the discharged yarn to cool and solidify, and then a stretching and relaxation heat treatment is performed to develop a three-dimensional crimp.
