abstract | It is not necessary to cool and solidify a thermoplastic resin injected into a cavity without requiring a complicated structure and configuration, and after the thermoplastic resin in the cavity is cooled and solidified. A mold assembly that enables the pressurized fluid in the hollow portion to be discharged in a short time is provided. A mold assembly according to the present invention includes first and second mold parts (11, 12), a cavity (18), a molten resin injection part (15), and a pressurized fluid introduction part (16). The second mold portion 19B corresponding to the end of the injected molten thermoplastic resin in the flow direction is formed with a recess 20 that communicates with the cavity 18 and into which the molten thermoplastic resin partially flows from the cavity 18. In the portion of the recess 20 where the molten thermoplastic resin does not reach, a pressurized fluid discharge portion 21 that opens to the recess 20 and communicates with the outside is provided.
