abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable composition useful for a recording layer of a negative lithographic printing plate precursor, which is highly sensitive by exposure with a laser beam, polymerized and cured, and excellent in storage stability and development processing stability. SOLUTION: The side chain has an alkali-soluble group capable of radical crosslinking and an unsaturated double bond group, preferably -SH, -ArOH, -C (= X) CHZC (= Y) -R ( Here, Ar represents a heteroaromatic ring, X and Y each independently represent O, S, or N—R ′, Z represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, or a hydrocarbon group, and R and R ′ represent a hydrocarbon. And a radically crosslinkable alkali-soluble polymer containing a copolymerizable structural unit having a structure such as a group as a copolymerization component.
