titleOfInvention Scintillator structure and radiation position detector
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scintillator structure capable of obtaining a high spatial resolution using a position sensitive optical sensor such as PSPMT and a radiation position detector using the scintillator structure. A scintillator constituting body 1 houses a scintillator 2 in a sealed container 3, and in a state where the scintillator 2 is in close contact with the scintillator 2 on one surface of the container 3, light is emitted from the inside to the outside of the container 3. An optical fiber plate 4 is disposed. As the scintillator, NaI (Tl) having a high luminescence amount but having deliquescence is used. [Selection] Figure 1
