PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a reversible discoloration of color development and decoloration by showing a wide hysteresis width (ΔH) with respect to a color density-temperature curve, and memorize both a color at a lower temperature side and a color at a higher temperature side than the color change temperature. It can be retained, and by applying heat or cold as necessary, any color can be reversibly reproduced and stored and retained effectively, so that it can be effectively applied to paints, printing inks, and cosmetics. Satisfies practicality as a new thermochromic material in the field of color materials such as lacquers, fiber coloring liquids and paints.
