abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a synthetic artificial leather using a conventional solvent-based polyurethane resin using an aqueous dispersion of an environmentally friendly polyurethane resin, and to satisfy various physical properties required for its production. To provide a synthetic artificial leather and a method for producing the same. In a synthetic artificial leather comprising a base fabric constituting a core and a skin layer, the skin layer comprises a polyisocyanate, (A) at least one hydrophilic group other than a hydroxyl group, and at least an active hydrogen-containing group. A compound having both of them, (B) a long-chain alkyl group-containing compound having an alkyl group having 8 to 64 carbon atoms in the side chain and at least one active hydrogen-containing group, and (C) at least one activity. A synthetic artificial leather characterized in that it is formed from a hydrophilic polyurethane resin having a long-chain side chain obtained by reacting a polysiloxane compound having a hydrogen-containing group in the absence or presence of a chain extender.
