[PROBLEMS] To improve the pumpability of concrete and the material separation resistance of high-fluidity concrete by reducing the amount of pressure bleeding of concrete. In concrete and high fluidity concrete that require pumping, a thickener comprising an aromatic compound having a sulfone group or a salt thereof (compound α) and an alkyltrimethylammonium salt (compound β) is blended.
