titleOfInvention Solid oxide fuel cell and method of operating solid oxide fuel cell
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel cell having a configuration capable of easily and surely reducing the size of a power generation system and a method for operating the solid oxide fuel cell. A solid oxide fuel cell (1) has at least an anode (2), a cathode (3), and an electrolyte layer (4) made of an ion conductive solid oxide disposed between the anode (2) and the cathode (3). . The anode 2 has an electrode reaction layer 2a containing a porous composite metal oxide material. The electrode reaction layer 2a further carries particles made of solid carbon as an electrode active material. The particles made of solid carbon supply an organic compound containing at least carbon and hydrogen as constituent elements into the electrode reaction layer 2a. It is formed through a heat treatment process that advances the decomposition reaction. [Selection] Figure 1
