abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating for an ink jet recording sheet which has an excellent binder strength with respect to an inorganic filler such as silica, has a high surface strength of an ink receiving layer, has excellent absorbability and printing characteristics of ink for ink jet recording, and has excellent water resistance. An agent composition and an ink jet recording sheet are provided. An aqueous emulsion obtained by polymerizing 35 to 300 parts by weight of a (meth) acrylic monomer (B) in an aqueous medium in the presence of 100 parts by weight of a carbonyl group-containing polyvinyl alcohol resin (A). A coating composition for inkjet recording sheets comprising [I], and an inkjet recording sheet using the same. |
