abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner having good chargeability and fixability with good dispersibility of a high-melting crystalline resin and a release agent. In a toner used for developing an electrostatic latent image formed on an electrostatic latent image carrier to form an image, the binder resin is made of a crystalline polyester and an amorphous polyester and has a crystalline property. The polyester is a block polyester having a softening point higher than that of the amorphous polyester obtained by copolymerization of the amorphous block constituting the amorphous polyester and the crystalline block component. A toner comprising a plurality of amorphous polyesters having different molecular weights in the peak of the molecular weight distribution, wherein the content of the crystalline polyester is 5 to 20% by mass of the whole binder resin.
