titleOfInvention | Optical element and manufacturing method thereof |
abstract | The present invention provides an optical element capable of obtaining a sufficiently large volume change amount when a polymer gel is expanded and contracted. At least a pair of substrates arranged opposite to each other, a liquid sealed between the opposing surfaces of the pair of substrates, and a polymer gel that expands and contracts by absorbing and releasing the liquid by applying a stimulus. And at least one opposing surface of the pair of substrates has at least an adhesive fixing portion for fixing the polymer gel, and the polymer gel is fixed to the one opposing surface via the adhesive fixing portion. In the optical element, an area of the adhesive fixing portion is equal to or smaller than a maximum cross-sectional area when the polymer gel is contracted at a minimum. [Selection figure] None |
