An object of the present invention is to provide a lipase inhibitor that has an excellent inhibitory effect on pancreatic lipase or bacterial lipase, is excellent in safety and contained in many plants, and can effectively cope with obesity, acne and dermatitis. The lipase inhibitor comprises 3,4-dihydroxyphenylcarboxylic acid or a salt thereof, 3,4-dihydroxyphenylcarboxylic acid or a salt thereof, gallic acid or a salt thereof, gallic acid or a salt thereof. One or more selected from the group consisting of: In this lipase inhibitor, 3,4-dihydroxyphenylcarboxylic acid or a salt thereof may be either caffeic acid or a salt thereof, rosmarinic acid or a salt thereof.
