titleOfInvention | Novel human parvovirus B19 receptor and uses thereof |
abstract | Kind Code: A1 A novel receptor for human parvovirus B19 other than P antigen is provided, and a reagent for measuring human parvovirus B19 using the receptor for human parvovirus B19, an adsorption reagent and an infection inhibitor. To provide. According to the present invention, it was found that Ku80 protein is a receptor for human parvovirus B19. The present invention thus provided a receptor for human parvovirus B19 consisting of Ku80. The present invention also provides a human parvovirus B19 binding agent comprising Ku80. Furthermore, the present invention provides a human parvovirus B19 infection suppressor containing a substance that inhibits the binding of Ku80 and human parvovirus B19 or a binding fragment thereof as an active ingredient.
