abstract |
A molten salt that removes impurities from a molten salt used to burn organic matter to prevent adverse effects on the molten salt, and that can recover valuable metals such as vanadium and nickel from the molten salt and reuse them. A method and apparatus for separating and recovering medium impurities is provided. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The molten salt is cooled and pulverized and dissolved in an aqueous solution to precipitate and separate nickel sulfide. 2. Solid carbon and chlorine gas are supplied to the molten salt 16 to convert vanadium oxide ions into metal vanadium ions 17, and metal vanadium is deposited on the surface of the cathode 20 by electrolysis.
