PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable composition useful as a recording layer of a negative lithographic printing plate precursor excellent in sensitivity, printing durability and developability. A polymerizable composition comprising (A) a polyurethane resin soluble or swelled in water or an aqueous alkaline solution having a carbon-carbon unsaturated bond in the side chain, and (B) a radical initiator. And The polymerizable composition, wherein the polyurethane resin (A) is obtained by adding an epoxy compound having a carbon-carbon unsaturated bond to a polyurethane resin having a carboxyl group.
