titleOfInvention | Polylactone and method for producing the same |
abstract | The present invention relates to a novel polylactone, particularly a polyurethane or polyester, useful as a thermoplastic elastomer excellent in heat resistance, hydrolysis resistance and mechanical properties using an aromatic amide unit in a hard segment and a polylactone unit in a soft segment. The present invention provides a polylactone useful as a raw material for an elastomer, a polyamide, and a polyesteramide elastomer and a method for producing the same. A method for producing a polylactone, which comprises subjecting a lactone compound to heat ring-opening polymerization in the presence of a novel polylactone having a specific structure and a specific dihydroxy aromatic amide compound.
